In 2005, Michael Stallings decided that he needed to branch out and find a supplemental income. Farming, as he and Abby both knew, was a gamble every year. Some years they won, some years they lost. So, he took the leap of faith and purchased his first truck, hired his first driver, and started beating the bushes, so to speak, to find his first customer. Now, almost 20 years later, with 35 trucks and 50 trailers, Stallings Farms Trucking, LLC remains a family-owned and operated business with an annual revenue of around $7,000,000.
